| How come the schedule be different for different service centers??? My car is almost 3 yrs old. I have never been asked to change these stuff. Why don't u guys insist them to show u the schedule before actually having them changed. In this world any loose ball u give to someone is bound to be hit over the boundary. | |

| I was once asked to change the entire electrical circuit for Rs 22,000 to solve a constantly glowing injection light in the dashboard panel. Later that got solved for Rs 150. Just imagine how cheat these guys are. | |

| This will depend on running conditions and fuel availability. The petrol here is likely to be a lot more contaminated. And the air a lot more dusty.
But the service advisor's views and their MR supplied charts don't match with the times mentioned in the manual.

| I mentioned earlier as well - as Logan is not selling any more in good quantities so they have opted a trick to cheat us by servicing. What I observed in last 8 months that service center guys behaviour changed a lot for Logan. earlier they were taking it on priority but now priority is with Scorpio & Xylo and Logan customers are cornered. Also when you go to service center they will surely suggest you the costliest method for fixing problems. Also if you have taken extended warranty and dont go as per them then its in the warranty cluase that warranty will no longer be valid. I am struggling for a simple Engine Oil Filter which they are not willing to give me or alone change (demanding 1000 Rs as service charge). Cross your fingers till your Logan goes well and dont breakdown othewise it is very difficult to justify such a high cost of maintenance for Logan buyers (who are basically a normal medium class people in India - Im too). | |

Ezee, Mahindra doesnt sell any spare separately. You have to get it installed at their service center. Its a policy with them even for our Scorpio so i dont see anything wrong in here with the Logans Parts!!!

| I did my paid servicing today from Royal Motors, Kolkata. They did something called engine flushing and also added a fluid called decarbonator. These two together cost around Rs 2500. Are these really necessary?
Also they suggested the following major costly problems that Logan owners are experiencing.
1) Gearbox failure if the box at th end of the drive shaft is not changed at the right time: cost Rs 90000 2) Alternator failure: ?? 3) AC coil failure: ?? 4) Front wheel disc damage if brake pad not changed every 20,000 km: disc cost 70000 5) Timing belt needs to be changed every 80,000 km
Do u guys know of anything else that we should have a check at every 6 months or so in order to avoid these hefty damages? This time the servicing cost me around Rs 7000 including brake pad changes. I will upload the bill for you guys.

| Not needed whatsoever ! All you need is a oil change with a new filter anything else is robbery and as for the Gearbox Drive shaft complete and utter nonsense I am still using the same Pads and Disks with now 60000 Km ok admitted I will be renewing both in the near future but at 20000 it s a JOKE The AC coil should not fail because it is now an electronic part not like the OLD days of a coil Timing belt does need to be changed until 80 to 90000 Km and also at the same time a new water pump is a good idea Alternator is also no problem by myself and as you know My Logan is used on the High Speed Autobahns of Germany and it goes through Hell So dont worry get the services done as stated in the Service manual and nothing extra Spend the extra Money on going on Holiday in Your Logan
