| I had taken my car for its 1st service on Wednesday. I purchased my car from a smaller branch of Sireesh Auto in North Bangalore. They have their workshops at their main branch which is about 35kms away from this place. Having said this, today when I went to pickup my car, I found a dirtier car than what I gave them. It had a good coat of dust - thanks to the road works happening outside the showroom. All the door panels inside had nice dark finger prints - thanks to my door rattling complaint - the executives explaination "we lubricate all doors durng service". I dont even think they gave the car a proper water service or under body wash. The dash board was nuce and dusty and I did not get the feel of getting into a serviced car - probably i expected too much. My old zen - serviced by a next door garage - used to come with clean interiors and exteriors, polished dashboard ect and you really get a good feel however old your car is. today was an utter disappointment. Even small torn pieces of tissue paper, pieces of copper wire etc remained right where i left it. How about your experiences especially folks in Bangalore and any Sireesh customers? Has anybody got a dashboard polish done or is it only water wiped. | |

| I agree on this. The service per se is gud on fixing the technical aspects of the vehicle but is lacking on the cosmetic and cleanliness aspect. My car too I had delivered to the accident section the dent was fixed amazingly but the car was returned pretty shabby with grease on the seat covers ... This in my view is a very basic expectation that when u see it come out of a service station it looks better than what has been taken inside I too had a zen earlier and the local garage returned it neat and clean... | |

| i think it is a dealer specific problem and not necessarily the company's. I've had an excellent service experience from my dealer/ workshop. i'll advise you to send an email to mahindra customer care, complaining the level of quailty service that particular dealer is providing. | |

| The dirty interiors are due to the silly habits of service guys, one example is they wash car first then service, so you can guess what they leave behind. I would suggest everyone to give feedbacks (a series of feedbacks from mah.) to make yr second service cleaner. | |

| ANOTHER EXPERIENCE
Went for my first service on last Saturday ... had specifically mentioned following problems:
1 The airconditioner vent problem I was facing ( outside air / pollution/ smoke entering passenger cabin, even when the vent is in Closed position)
2 Low mileage (never more than 8.5 - 9 kmpl even on a 450km Highway round-trip)
3 Rattling sound in dashboard
1 They didnt even look at the AC problem, until 5 hours later when I was asked to test drive the car. Test drove the car TWICE with service person as well as a Senior Service person. Only then did they acknowledge that there was a problem with the AC vent. IF they had either BELIEVED me earlier or asked for a TEST in the morning when I brought in the car, things could have been sorted out the same day. Now I have to send in the car for another full day to let them sort out this AC Vent problem
2 Had tightened some stuff under the car, but did not specifically say that there was anything done to improve the mileage. Did say the mileage should improve after 1st service. Suggested a mileage test run of 50km along my usual route to determine my actual driving conditions and driving style
3 Could not fix | |

| Hi all for me the service center here in Egypt is good, I went there be4 my first service the car made only "4200 Km" and I hered a sound comming from the motor when the car is hot and the RPM is on 1500 so they checked it and changed the water pump they said that the romanian pump is rough, but really after I took the car there was no sound again, they asked me to make the service of 5000Km but I told them no as I want to check the car for this sound again and if something wrong happened I will get it to them on the 5000Km service, they are good guys.Regards | |

| Good for you Romyo. I too did notice this odd noise 'kat-kat-kat' from the engine especially when you are depressing the accelerator while on the move. It straightens itself out in a minute or two. Happens occassionally. | |

| Hi RajeshNamb, I suggest that u go to the service center as it may cause something bad to the car, I forgot to ask them about the effect of this on the motor, but till now the sound of the motor is smooth again and nothing strange. | |

| During my last fre service (about 3 months back), in the workshop they poured some combustion Improver liquid in my Logan's fuel tank. It's called Wynn's Diesel treatment and Combustion Improver. The effect was really good. The engine gave less sound and was much smoother. Do u guys have ever had the service people used tthis in ur Logans? I am thinking of buying this product from outside shop and apply it again. If I go to the workshop fo that they will include VAT, labourcharge etc. In the internet I found this: http://www.itwchemin.com/brands_wynns.html | |
