As per inputs given by service center people, power boot opener will cost around 500 bucks, will get it installed the next time i take my car for servce

I got a call from a representative of Bhavsar Motors asking me about the experience and said tat they are looking in the matter and will refund the money and will check wer things are wrong!! cheers

I too have not yet heard back anything from the dealer as well as Mahindra. I have sent do many mails to them man. This really hurt

Beware of power boot opener if yours a Diesel Logan, the plate they are using to mount actuator gun will rattle a lot. I have placed some newspaper under that, actually it needs to be done using a channel strip like this (I will rectify once I get time):

Paper strip (infact its plastic in my case) will not work, sooner or later it will produce nice rattling sound. I suggest to either screw rear ends or use what is shown in example.

Its almost 3 months that I have fitted boot opener, but haven't expeience any such noise. The paper strip I mentioned is actually thick sticker that is used to attach most accessories inside the car

Yes it has a double side tape on it and mechanic forgot to peel out the cover, but its not sticking to the surface and probably a bad idea from manufacturers to avoid rattle. I think I need to drill a hole on rear end as well and screw it for permanat solution.
