| No offense but the issue description is limited to comment upon nor is the question apt for an answer. While I understand you had it checked by a local mechanic, you need to know the root/source of problem even before its fixed. By all means this may need some inspection down under. Take a second opinion from alternate mechanic/service center on possible cause even before you opt out for a fix as certainly doesn't seem to be a DIY unless you are stalwart and have apt resources and infrastructure to handle on own.
