| Hi all,
do we need to replace the diesel filter at every service (interval of 6 months)?
My logan is 1 year old and have spent approx Rs. 3200 during the 2nd service. How'z the maintenance cost of the Logan Diesel? will it be in this range?

when you are at the serrvice center, they have a board mentioning of all works that are warranted at various kilometers of running the machine. Just follow that chart without doing anything else unless it is needed out of not natural circumstances.
The chart has price information as well. |

| Reviving this old thread - Actually, the diesel filter for the Logan is supposed to be replaced every 10K km (says so in the service coupon booklet on page 27).
Its prices have gone up (was charged 1400 Rs for it when I got the car serviced yesterday).
IMO - this fuel filter change should be done at every 20K km's and not every 10K km's.
Those of you who own other diesel cars - can you please check and post the details about their fuel filter. |

| Last Monday I went for my first paid service after 11000 km. Last free service was done on Aug-08. Following are the jobs done and their charges:
Maximile Pulse 4.1 litre----------Rs 619
Filter Oil------------------------Rs 360
Diesel Fuel Filter----------------Rs 1338
Catridge Filter------------------Rs 382
Engine Flushing-----------------Rs 426
Paid Service charge-------------Rs 800
Consumable---------------------Rs 136
They were also going to add one fuel additive called Dcarbon which cost RS 700, but I refused. |
