| i have seen a diesel filter in the market from a company names delphi renault was also written on it the shopkeeper told me its original and u can get it checked by the service center its not of any local company or already used he said he can give proper bill etc with it.. it costed almost half(700 rs.) from the one sold in mahindra service center.. but he did not had any engine oil filter for the car he said we use the filter of diesel palio its the same u can see for urself.. | |

Venkat Return the old parts when we go for service either repair or replacing Engine Oil. But Logan Authorised Dealers never returned the used filters so far though some brake items they returned in one of their services. If they return we can find out the brand. What type of Oil filter they use? Screw type or Bayonet Type? Once thank you for the response Venkat

| Martin I tell you things are not that way here in India as I have seen service centers using Oils made for scorpio (Indian Oil) and refurbished filters.
For you Logan is a good car but for us Mahindra is not a good company. Th cheat. | |

| Logan oil filter ( same size for both petrol and diesel ? ) is one of the cheapest in market. and available in good after market brands
1) sakura japan - slightly longer - Rs.165 /175 in mumbai ( white in color )
2) sakura indonesia / thailand - Rs.150/- to 175/- its the stock size in length ( white in color )
4) Lumax ( the co. famous for lights / bulbs etc ) Rs.110/ to 135/- ( MRP iS 135 ) COLOR dark blue
5) Vtech ( rs. 100/- ) | |

| Dont forget guys a Oil filter has a pressure Valve and If it is the wrong one you will have problems with your oil system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_filter | |

| I get the oil and the oil filter replaced at the authorized service centre. Though the oil says maximile, it is from ELF. I would any day buy ELF. | |

| That is the correct thing to do in my eyes !!! The motor is made to be filled with Elf Oils and also the Filter is specially for this motor Money is not saved using cheaper parts and also fuel will NOT be saved by using a dearer oil | |
