I had given my car (Renault – Logan – Petrol GSL 1.6. Car ) to G3 Motor service (Supervisor Mr. gyan) at Malad to resolve for overheating. I was assured the car would be given back within 2 days after repairing.  They have exorbitantly charged of Rs.28,000/-, which was paid by me. In spite of having received ordered part in workshop they took extra 4 days to return my car with humming engine sound (They purposely did mischief in my car by placing broken brake shoes under the Car. While I took the delivery, I was informed that I will have to bear with this humming sound from engine as it needs replacement of engine mounting (additional cost of Rs.10,000/-).

I drove car being dis-satisfied with their service (they returned my clean car with humming engine sound). However, as I could not bear noise I brought car back to G3 workshop within 10 minutes and the same supervisor (Mr. Gyan), shamelessly,  insisted me to replace the engine mount at the cost of Rs,10,000/- extra which can be fixed on the same day.

After having driven noisy car home, I took the same to my local mechanic for inspection and guess what? We found the G3 service guy having placed broken shoe under the chassis, purposely, to create sound. My mechanic after having diagnosed pushed the external object out of the chassis and believe me my car was as good as it was before.

It is very clear that the G3 personnel intended to extort money from the potential customers in deceptive manner.

I request all to whom it matters to be extra careful while dealing with G3 Motors at Malad, because of  their such deceptive and wrong practices.

Thank you for sharing this information. It helps other forum members to be cautious.
On a side note, I hope this is a one off instance.

As it is Mahindra service sucks big time and is highly inconsistent.
Add to it, they treat customers like cab drivers.
It's time Mahindra looked more into maintaining happy customers through their service
than loading gizmos and goodies in the car and attract new customers.

Whats the point in getting new customers when you cannot retain them

Hello Leena, please start to give your vehicle at Milestone Parel, excellent workshop of M&M. They have a technician named Pramod who only handles Logans and is an expert mechanic. I got this confirmed several times by cross checking with our member Stuart Martin who knows this vehicle in and out.... what Stuart used to advice was also closely informed by Pramod as well. But one thing you cannot speak to him directly as we are not authoisred to deal with technicians directly but have to interact with the service advisor first. Samuel D'Souza or Ajit Bamne are service advisors who can assist you, I suggest that you show it to them or in case if you are still in doubt you can approach NBS international at Sewri this is the M&M workshop. The problem there is that they first give preference to the taxi folks as Meru has contract with them that their vehicles have to be attended first and cannot be kept waiting...
 
This is from experience of owning a beautiful ,reliable vehicle such as a Logan.. too bad it is not in service anymore...
