| Hi All,
I own a 1.6 GLS and is about 2.5 years old. Last week suddenly my car battery went down and refused to start. The service centre initially diagonised as low charge and informed that they will try recharging and if the charge does hold need not replace battery else to be replaced. I felt that 2.5 year s soon fora battery to die (24,000km).
Now a day later they said that the problem is now with the actuator and it has to be replaced.(costs about 22K !!) as it cannot be repaied . Fortunately I have extended warranty and this will be covered under the same. But I wonder anybody has come across this problem...what is the cause etc...
Now I am waiting fro the atuator to be supplied by Bosch and replaced, wonder how many days they all take!!!
Thanks. | |
