| We are trying to install a stereo in our 2005 Logan. We were happy to find that the wiring was already in place, even though the car did not come with any sound components. However, we ran into two problems:
1) The audio unit does not turn on. We've checked all the connections with a multi-meter, and the power definitely is coming through to the unit. The stereo is brand new. Anything we may be missing from aspect of wiring in the car?
2) After our attempt to install the radio, we now find that every time we turn on the car, the clock resets to 0:00. If we leave the car on, the clock will add minutes, but it resets whenever the ignition is switched off. This seems to indicate to me that we did something during the radio installation that has affected other aspects of the electric system.
Any ideas? Thanks! | |

| Thanks for your reply. Is there a wiring diagram that would show the wires you are talking about? The information you gave is too vague to start messing around with - so far, we have left all the wires in the original configuration. | |
