| Hi,
I am Vadivelrajan from TN. I bought 1.4 GLX edge connect a month back and done 1900 km. Due for I service. Nice driving / riding experience.
But recently (may be I didn't notice earlier) I hear a crackling noise from under the bonnet, (sort of a bee inside a vessel noise) for a few seconds immediately after stopping / parking the car.
Can any one say what could be the problem. Is it serious?
Regards B.Vadivelrajan | |

| Must be the radiator fan running. It will run even with the engine and ignition switched off sometimes. | |

| If this happens only after stopping the car or when engine is still running, open the bonnet and simply put your eye on the fan (cooling system). This is the fan that is making that small noise. If this is the case it is normal. However this should not happen immediately after starting the car first time during the day. You can do this. Start the engine in morning. Let it run for lets say half a minute. Turn it off. Check if the same noise comes. It should not come. However if it does, go and get your cooling system checked, as fan must kick off only when engine is heated up and needs cooling. | |
