hey i just posted my car details on carwale.com yesterday ....and i am getting 4.5 lakhs from a person in chandigarh

my car is 2 years old and has clocked nearly 32000 kms....

pretty decent amount though

This is what come out from used car value of carwale for my DLS, original value of 705,000 Rs. (On Road with few accessories - seat cover & mud flap)

Individual Value

Excellent - 4,11,000
Good - 3,97,000
Fair - 3,75,000

Dealer Value

Excellent - 3,82,000
GOod - 3,68,000
Fair - 3,46,000

And as per my past experience selling car through car wale, the price projected by them is correct with only + - 10%.

Cant afford to sell in this price.

Ezee, Hitesh seems to differ!! check his earlier posts! I havent really had a great experience with Carwale earlier as well.. Wen we were tryin to sell our older Scorpio, the rate we got from outside was atleast 1 lakh more than carwale so i would suggest u look for something outside..
Though Hitesh got it from carwale as well but that was from a listing and not a direct sale as we all checked...

obviously carwale wont provide best offer. after all they are an ecommerce broker.

however @ezee, is your car model's price 7 lacs as of today. you need to consider the current price for the same model brand new as at date, since the buyer will always look at the current market price and not what we bought for.

rest guys ...got my result last week of bsc 2nd year... scored 84% .....so my papa did offered me that i can upgrade my logan with any new car......... i asked for his passat and got ....hhehehe


rest no plans for selling for about next 2 years...


i went to carwale just for fun sake.... m not serious at all....

congrats hitesh, 84% in bSc is a very good score by any standards. your parents must indeed be very proud of you!

In May 2007 DLS ex showroom was 6,54,000 and now it is 6,76,419, so its an incrase of around 22,000 but resale price is decreased. --- strange na?

yes it is strange.
however @ezee, i do not think i could purchase a logan for anything above 6 lacs. That seems to be over priced. This is because in this range there are quite a few options.

Around 5.75 is ok, though diesel.

May be this could also be a factor for low sales.

i too have observed that numbers of logans nowadays is increasing...

numbers doesnt matters for me as long as i like the car

in my office also i have seen the no increasing it may not be a giant increase but is at a slow and steady pace, another thing i notices and have seen is that few of the people i know who bought the car had travelled in Meru, or had friends or relatives who owned logan and they were going on the ownership experience and ride quality of the car, they were also aware of the short comings in advance before buying the same

I mentioned long back that I noticed this in my area in Chennai. Quite a few new Edge Connects.
