| I'd like to ask how can I upgrade my tyres as I need to maximize my tyre size to more than15" inches and 185/65 but I heared that any other size will damage my speed gauge as it will change the raduice of the wheel, so if any one has information please help. Thanks in advance | |

| hi martin, thx for ur reply, I'd like to maximize my tyre size to increase the stability of the car as its not stable over than 140 KPH here in egypt, so when I increase the size the area touching the earth increases so the frection power increases so it increase the stability, also it will make the steering tough some how, but it will aslo be good for high speedshi ashutosh, thx for the information I visited the link and got what I needed thanks. | |

| Regulations: Egypt The speed limit is usually 90kph (56mph) on motorways and 100kph (62mph) on the desert motorway from Cairo to Alexandria (there are substantial fines for speeding). stu | |

| Ramy, you could also check another link as it has some very good information and calculations with regard to tyre upgrade. I think the tyre size that you are planning to upgrade to could lead to problems with the electronic meter not to mention the compatibility of the wheel wall of the vehicle to accomodate the increase in the overall diameter. I have a friend who is good in electronics, I'll check with him if he has any information.

| Okay Ramy, I asked my friend about the upgrade to 16" wheels and he said that it shoudn't damage the speedometer though you may have major error with the speed indicator unless you offset it with the appropriate tyre profile. Also I took a look at the Michelin India website and they too recommend a maximum of 15" upgrade. So I would say it is better to stick to 15" unless you know somebody who has done a verified upgrade to 16".
