hey dk may be the problem is from running with under-inflated tyres.check on ur tyre's sidewall if it's written" Thread:Steel" then you have to change ur tyres cause they would burst unexpectedly regardless of hitting something or not.u should develope the habit of checking ur tyre pressure weekly and the best investment for a car owner is a reputable brand pressure gauge like michelin or schrader and not to trust the shop gauge, because most of them become inaccurate from frequent use.

Your DIS will not tell you the tire pressure
Its best to check pressure when tires are cool. Already discussed earlier

Recommended pressure is 29 psi

DK, If the bulge is accompanied with a cut, the warranty wont cover it, but if there isnt a cut, try getting them changed under warranty. If ayou are Lucky, you may just get New Set of Tyres!

To me that indicates a weak spot on the tyre. It is prone to burst/deflate. Its puzzling you have it on more than one tyre. The recommended tyre pressure is 29psi. Its on a sticker on the driver side door. If you want to upgrade go for 185/65/15 and that too is mentioned on the same sticker.
Do not check/refill air after you have covered considerable distance. Its best done when the tyre is cold.

Hi All,

Even i had the same problem. I reported the problem to Mahindra serivce station and JK tyres. Then they changed all four tyres on warranty but on
pro rata basis (whatever
worn out will be charged) which is a standard practice by all the tyre
companies.

Here is one more case.

All 4 tyres on my Logan have developed bulges. Discovered when I took it to MRF Tyredrome in Chennai for alignment/balancing.

The warranty on the tyres is 6 months? If so, no warranty for me.

Have to take it to the service station on Monday.

Can you support with some pics rdr?
I'd like to discuss with my technical staff in office (Toyota) regarding the bulges.

Not easy to see with pics. Will try to take some though (some of the bulges are really obvious).

What the tyredrome guys ask you to do is to gently rub your hand over the tryes. You can feel the bumps immediately.
