a/c cooling coil problem in Logan

Dear all Logan reall killer car.

I Bought this car for Nov 2007. Model DLE 1.5.

within year timg they replaced the clutch.

after 23rd Month a/c is hot air. No air coming from left side ventilatios. So they replaced the a/c during the replacement i asked is the a/c will go like this. I never experience in other cards a/c will work without any prblems for 10 ~12 Years. But here with 23 rd month gone.

they told there is no issue. It will work fine. they a/c willhave good life. I would like to our frieds any of faced a/c problem in Logan DLE. How do your over come.

in jan 2012 vehicle went for service in India garage and come back . just 24 days a/c is not working. i don;t what all the point they checked i the car.




I lost trust with mahindra service personnel.

i given to Private service person he is telling a/c cooling coil is gone. this caost me 12 K. Is that fair price.

i have a 2008 DLX i to experience same a/c problem and i replaced the cooling coil which is inside the dashboard all (with gas and labour charges) for 12,000/- but no other faults. frequently a/c is giving trouble.

2012 Jan i replaced the cooling coil again same problem re-occured 8th of December. I doubt any one from Mahindra is seeing this forum to address our issue.

the a/c life is onlye 16~18 months in Logan car. from 2007 this is third occation i am changing the cooling coil. and replacing the freon. now they are asking 15K

Cooilng coil shouldn't need to be require to change that much frequently. The period is too less. I'll suggest read all stuff about car air conditioning, or find a specialist whom you can trust. But I have one qtn why did the service person suggested you to replace a coil , for a leakage they couldn't find, or damaged fins which is resisting the air to circulate through it. What was a reason they told you?

Coz the coling coil is well protected under the dashboard in plastic box, Mine also 2008 model & still the cooling coil is clean as new, just serviced the coil in month of Apr 2013 & the performance is also top class.

thanks , Yes they confirmed there is leakage in cooling coil. F.Y.I.  I bouth this car on 2007 November oct 2009 car has A/c problem taken to MPLS they serviced and return it Back. they told condensor changed.peculiar problem only driver two blower thru cool air and aisle side thru Hot air.

2012 again a/c throwing hot air. taken to private personnel changed the cooling coil. they told cooling coil can't be repaired. Now again it throwing hot air. vehicle

Can it be serviced i don't know.

Actually the problem you mention is not isolated to Logan alone.
A friend of mine has a Bolero and it had a similar issue. 3 ducts throwing cold air and remaining 1 throwing hot air. Even the remedies were similar. Seems a generic thing with Mahindra.
