Fuel injection problem in LOGAN after 70000 kms is it true

Iam Manju from Hoskote, about 25 kms from Bangalore. Planning to buy a second hand 1.5 diesel Logan and its done about 60500 kms so far.

I need one clarification from you or anybody from this forum, I came across a news on a issue with fuel injection problem in LOGAN after 70000 kms is it true and each fuel injection unit will cost 18k is it true.

The Renault Motor in your Logan will be Ok ! Some people do write negative stuff about the Logan But i will tell you this ! Here in Germany the logan is on 3rd place for satisfied owners the first place is Mercedes and joint 2 and 3rd is Dacia (Logan) the injectors will be ok make sure you use fuel from a good filling station and if you ae worried then buy a tin of injector cleaner when you get your second hand car tip it in the tank and DRIVE Its a good car over a MILLION drivers worldwide cannot be wrong

My recent trip to workshop had 3 cars being repaired for timing belt breakage resulting in engine damage.
Even the supervisor mentioned he is getting too many timing belt cases.
So, please stick to 60000 KM timing belt replacement schedule and avoid engine damage at any cost.
PS. All of those 3 cars had more than 60K kms on ODO.

Hell YES get the belt changed at 60000 its early but needs to be done cos if it snaps the Valves just DROP down in there seats and knock holes in the Pistons RESULT New Engine

mine timing belt broken at 50000K, 2 valves bend, but thanks pistons are safe, so only head work needed, i had it done and its fine

Scary stuff .is the timing belt wear and tear dependent only on KM's run or on time aswell .i dont use my car much 3 yrs and 14.5 k only .how do i know if its gonna go wrong ?

i will change mine vehicle timing belt at 55k from now onwards to prevvent any mishappenings from now onwards
