| Is he the service advisor or mechanic? Frankly speaking he should join a circus and take up the role of a BAFOON. | |

| Rajesh - apart from the aesthetics, do the fog lamps enhance visibility at night in normal city/highway conditions. Is there a significant difference? I too would like to have them fixed if its worth the effort >: | |

| The rating of my fog lamps is 12V35W, whereas the standard ones are 12V55W. My fog lamps may/will be a bit weaker. Hitesh, I'll use the fog lamps when the conditions are right. It may be a nuisance for the other road users if used in normal conditions. The standard headlamps do a good job within the city. | |

| To me, the fog lamps act as pothole detecting devices, a boon for highway/city driving. also, they make you see small dogs sitting on the road | |

| Niloy, there is a shop adjacent (parallel) to the JC Road. It is called 'CAR AUTOMOBILES' and is on the first floor. It will cost you Rs1400/-or so for a pair, Halonix/Lumax make. Try to get the brackets too, if possible. Take that and go to Sireesh Service Center in Marathahalli and ask them to fit it. Contact Ajay at Sireesh Service Center, Marathahalli. He'll get the job done perfectly. | |

Hitesh are you then one the the million Indians who do everything to inconvenience others and then blame the country for bad roads?... buddy fog lamps have a very specific purpose.. they are supposed to be used in times of low visibility - heavy rain, fog etc.. driving on city roads with fog lamps is as good as driving with your head lamps in the beam position... gives you comfort of having caused a few fellow human beings immense hardship... please reconsider..

hey buddy.. you are supposed to moderate.. not eliminate! though i agree that pot holes become more visible, i still don't stand by using foggies in city driving for the heck of it..

| Hi, I have got a pair of fog lamps fitted from a local dealer this weekend. It cost me Rs 1800/- for the entire job. The lamp is currently not a very good one. The dealer guy told me that he will get a better halogan lamp in a week or two. The fitting has been decent, I would not say excellent. I would say 90% perfect. Only on very close obersation, some imperfections can be oberserved. Will update on the visiblity part once the halogen lamps are fitted. With Regards, Kaustuv Goswami. | |

| Hi Kaustuv, The Fog lamps which you fitted, are they operating on the Fog Lamp Switch on the lever of the Steering Column, or did you add any external switch to turn the Fog Lamps On/Off? Regards, Vishal | |

| Hi Vishal, I have added an external switch for operation. However, the fog lamp can only be activated once your side lamps are on, otherwise even if you press the fog lamp switch it will not work. I have done this as a precationary measure. The steering wheel lever provided in the DLX model is not the same as available in the DLS model. If you observe the inner groove of the lever in DLX, you will find there is only one groove provided for the rear fog lamp. However, if you see the DLS model, the lever is provided with two grooves, one for the front fog lamp and the other is for the rear. If you want to get the DLS settings, then you will have to go for the OEM fog lamp which will come for around Rs 10,000. Bye, Kaustuv | |

| i got the fog lamp fitted for Rs. 1800/- from G3 motors. They offered me 10% discount since i fitted about Rs. 25000/- worth accessories. The fitting is decent and thru a separate switch ( i.e.spare switch in the central panel space has been used.) But the car looks great with the fog lamps on..... | |

| hmmm fog lamps. can some body let me know whether apart from the aesthitic value do the fog lamps provide some benefit. i am getting enthusiastic to get them on my car also. also are they fitted strongly enough to withstand strong shocks coming on bumpy roads. some insight will be helpful. | |

| Hi, It do adds to the look of the car but again it is based on your perception. I have found it helpful in highways, gives you a better coverage of the road immediately in front but of course not significant. With Regards, Kaustuv | |
