| Yes, just one movement. I was told that the switch to activate the rear fog lamp will cost Rs5000/-. Not sure if its true. But if its true then the pricing is ridiculous. | |

| 5000/- for the stalk switch? I have better looking switches at home in my hobby kit for high ampere rating, which i purchased during my school days and they costed me about 50 Rs. then. I'm sure they will do an equally good job and be concealed away from visibility. | |

| Hi,
Is it possible to get the covers for Fog Lamp as it there in Swift or SX4. I think that will ensue better coverage. Currently what I am observing that a significant portion of the light is getting dispersed.
Regards,
Kaustuv | |

| You mean dummy covers? To install it you would have to cut a hole in the existing bumper. Now, why would you want to do that? | |

| This will increase the road coverage area of the fog lamp and increase the visibility. But considering the shape of the fog lamp area in the bumper, I don't think we will have to cut a hole in the bumper. Of course, the cover needs to fitted into the bumper using a screw. I think the Logan Play will have the same company fitted. | |

| Hi,
On my recent visit to the workshop, the guys told me that fog lamp is now available for Logan. The cost of the same is Rs 1200/- per piece and the overall cost of installation will come to around Rs 4000/- including wiring harness, bracket and labor.

Kaustuv | |

| Now at that price, it doesn't seem to be so bad after all. But i still think i'll wait till I convince myself that I actually need them here in Bangalore. | |

| Hi,
Recently changed my previous fog lamps (Aftermarket one) with the standard OEM ones. The cost of the lamps is Rs 1200/- per unit. They have also changed the bracket used to hold the lamp. Now the lamps have fitted very well in the bumper and the light coverage is very accurate and better. However, i am considering of replacing the OEM lamps with better ones as I have done for my headlamps. But the current setup is quite good and I found it very helpful during highway drives. It is very helpful and adds to the power of the headlamps.
Regards. Kaustuv. | |

| Hey Kaustuv! Can you post some pics please. I'd like to see the fitment job. I do feel that the fog lamps add to the appeal of the car. But am dilly-dally'ing whether or not to spend on it (purely for fancy usage)
I'm afraid about the quality of hole drilling done by the dealer since the fog lamp kit doesn't come with a drilling bit, unlike the rear parking sensor kit. | |

| Surya, go to the Jakkur Service Center and get it done. But be present when they are cutting the bumper. They do a good job normally but I had a bad experience when the folks in the sales office tried to fix the fog lamp. Later they did replace the bumper and the fog lamps fit perfectly. No charges ofcourse, all free. | |

| Hi Everyone, Its been long I was away from this forum, I own Java Brown GLX 2009 Model which is almost 2yrs old now. Just wanted to share experience on the big trouble that we all Logan Users face while fitting the FOG LAMPS. I went through all your views and it was very clear that this is not easy task to do if we want to get the thing done NEAT and TIDY. Since I am planning for Night Drive on Friday on NH17 (GOA) thought of getting FOG Lamps Installed. But this is what I want to share all about it. 1. Took 4hrs to fix the Fog Lamps 2. No hush rush by the Technician from Sion, the shop from were usually I purchase accessories 3. Lamps fitted were perfect to meet my expectation Tools involved: Fog Lamps : HELLA KIT Bulbs : Phillips Extreme Power H3 Clamps Screws Total cost of the same was Rs. 2500, but was not hesitated to pay off for the kind of patience technician showed. Please share your comments on the same. | |

| This is a very different looking one than the one I have fixed for my vehicle. I bought the 'Lumax' make. Initially at the time of sale they did a shoddy job but had them replace the bumper and do a proper job. I have posted pictures elsewhere under the same topic. | |

| Martin, Your Idea is great and i guess if Work done on my Car (GLX Fog Lamps) is liked by everyone we can even talk with that Shop. Saumil, I have already given him idea about many users are waiting to get Fog Lamps installed on there logan but dont want to take risk because of improper fitting done. And I guess atleast from Rs. 2500, he should come down if we can get our group gng there together. If you are aware the same thing is done in Gujrat were 100+ Business man came together in forum , made there panel for bargain and got there Merc S-Class from same showroom with Whopping discount, We can atleast try to do the same for small and common task . And Sion is place were competition is like crazy so even 10+ odd customer will surely help us to get good deal. What Say??? Things which we can do in common Teflon + Polish coat Fog Lamps + Headlamp Upgrade Head Rest LCD ( Which I have done in 10k of MEGA AUDIO (.co.uk) Brand) with integraded DVD Player and can work with existing MP3 HEAD unit. AUTOFOAM Seat Covers / any brand which will be liked in common. Spoilers Parking Sensors MAG Wheels Wooden Dashboard etc.etc | |
