| Hi Guys,
Recently I have to shift my Logan to another rented car parking space since I don't have garage space in my house. It is a open field with shed over my car. Security guard is there. Can anyone please advice me what precautionary measures I should take to prevent scratches and rust because of moisture and other elements. I have bought a car cover. Do u think if I use the cover everyday, the color of the car will be affected because of regular rubbing. I am really very concerned about that, because I cannot see my Logan deteriorate in front of my eyes. Please advice. | |

| Good you bought a cover, use everyday it will give lot of protection.... but dont forget to clean that cover time to time otherwise while removing cover can mark fine scratches. Get teflon coating from a good reputed shop before summer starts. Dont wash your car everyday with soap water or wet cloth, buy finest cloth (Microfiber Towels) or as similer used to clean spectacle glasses and instruct your car cleaner to take cloth from you everytime he cleans car. Avoid bird droppings, these contain acid. And finally have faith in your car paint it cant detriorated easily, minor scatches can be removed easily with cutter police etc. | |

| If still you get scratches then you may purchase touch up paints available at www.com-paint.com in many shades, shop lists are also given there. But unfortunately TRED is not available, I had a talk with a person in company and he promised me to get that in next 10 -15 days. | |

| Hey ezee ... thanks a lot dude. And one more thing buddy. The ground on which I park my car is covered with debris to make up the unevenness of ground. Will my tyres deterorate for that. Actually I am too concerned with my car. Infact since I don't have parking space under my house I have thought of buying a flat with garage! | |

| Hey nayan! I can understand your concern but dont worry, your tyres arent so weak to deflate or detereorate in debris unless its sharp object on which it is kept on till long!! Also our Logan has Tubeless wheels rite!! Try gettin the debris levelled to get rid of ur tension!!! | |

| Anti-rust is generally not required for new vehicles before around 2-3 years, untill n unless you live in area like cherrapunji. Teflon is very good, will protect you from minor scratches and wheather elements but get it done from experienced dealer only - I think full course require 3 coats at the interval of some time. | |
