Thanks martin...

You mean to say I take the same steps wherein it starts changing minute which happens at snail pace... but when I get adamant and dont give up, it will be as per my will.. Smile

Great.. will try out today!!

Will post the result..

PostSubject: Re: Digital Clock   Thu Apr 12, 2012 10:03 am

Though I couldn't do it yesterday, I found one more bug on my digital panel...

If am right, the last big bar of petrol indicator is for reserve and generally 5 litres... and I had one more bar above that... I filled in around 21 litres of petrol and when I tried checking the fuel using the same "press the trip button" way, it was showing me again 20 litres.. am just freaking out... dont knw if the problem with the display or its the fuel station guys trying to fool us!!!

Anyone got this issue of digital display not showing the right amount of petrol in the tank or we shd stop bothering abt it...

Also, do the service guys look at just the display panel issue and not service the whole vehicle.. I guess mumbaikars can answer this..

Awaiting ur feedbacks..

Thanks

@saumil..

I was wondering abt the process of this website... when I received a mail stating that someone has repliedd to my post... but I have to login to the site... maybe we should be able to see what others have commented and reply to that... and ur server should be able to have a rule wherein it takes the mail and post it back on this forum provided the subject is same...

Just a technie guy so, I get ideas on it and thinking aloud..

Dear Syed,

Our forum is currently hosted on a free server. Hence there are certain limitations.
The mail notification received is usually an indicator of some activity happening on the post after your visit (which means you are subscribed).

Look at it this way. If there were to be a notification with the content of the post and if 25 posts appeared after your viewing, yuo would end up with 25 mails!

I think for now, we will have to make do with whatever is available.

thanks marting for the info, i used to change the clock by pressing the trip button continuously. Will try this next time for setting the digi clock.

I think when ever the main battery is removed/replaced the digi clock goes kaput.

@ Deccansand,

As a practice when you give your vehicle for a service, tghey guys start with disconnecting the battery first.

So, if your audio has some custom settings (like mine) those will be lost too!
