| Hi folks ... I have a three year old Logan DLX, my second car, which has just completed 60,000 kms. By and large, the car has been OK and has done what I wanted it to ... cart my kids to school, tackle the BRT traffic nightmare of Delhi in taking my wife to work and driving 350 kms every now and again to my home in the hills in Ranikhet. It has done all this very well. The suspension is brilliant, the boot space superb and the fuel efficiency (15-16 km/l) very acceptable in the 42 degree heat of Delhi with the AC on in insane traffic.
Unfortunately, along the way, I find the serving and maintenance costs unacceptably high. In December, I had a total clutch failure at 50 K kms. Last year, I had a clogged AC component and this year a leak in the AC system. The AC repairs were carried out at Khan Mkt in Delhi, a mistake I made to avoid being fleeced by Mahindra service centres. Little did I know that servicing the AC of the Logan to fix a leak or remove muck from a pipeline means dismantling the entire dashboard and about 5 hours of concerted labour. All other servicing has been done at a Mahindra dealership. Today, I encountered yet another excessive bill as mentioned below .. Pls see and advise ... ......
