WHICH ONE SHUD I DO FOR BETTER DRIVING EXPERIENCE.
ALSO IS SWITCHING TO CNG A GOOD IDEA !!!

| I would not change tpo gas at that age ! It wont pay in the long run .with the installation costs | |

I HAVE LOGAN GLX 1.4 (NOV 2007) AND I CONVERTED IT INTO CNG (LANDY RANZO KIT) ON AUG 2009, 38000 KMS ON MY METER AT THAT TIME WHICH IS NOW 134000 KMS AND I HAVE NEVER FACE ANY PROBLEM. | |

| ya its around 4000 kms in a month because i live sonipat and my work place is in mahipal pur (palam) new delhi. 20km the average is which i am getting on CNG and you won’t believe I drove it from sonipat to zirak pur (Panchkula) in full cylinder of CNG. The capacity of cylinder is 14 kgs but it contains maximum 10 kgs only. Tomorrow I will click the pictures of fittings and upload the same for you.

You told formerly that 1.4 petrol engine has some valve problem in cng . Now see more than 1lakh kms without any problem in cng pls reply
one question from where you fitted the landi renzo kit. | |

| I do not run on Gas ! It is not worth doing so here in Germany with my Milage
The Valve trouble which I spoke a bout a Long time ago only affects certain Motors

actually i also got a kit fitted some time back and was wondering whether was it a right move or not .. i still feel that the mileage on driving now on petrol - post CNG fitment - has deteriorated further ---
btw manoj - how much mileage on petrol is ur car giving now ...
martin: i cant compare the performance, as the infra in europe is surely better than what we have i here ...

Have a compression test done on your car !!!! This deterioration could be due to burnt Valves (I hope Not) In Europe we add a additive to help the Valves with Gas !

| Like I said get the valves checked It should not be getting a higher Petrol consumption because you have gas fitted Try (JUST) driving on Petrol a full tank and the measure your fuel consumption | |

| most of the dealers tells to avoid cng on logan 1.4 GLX and tells it will start creating prolems after 8000 to 10000 on CNG!!! are there people in this forum who have CNG installed and runs more then 10000 km. Kindly share your experiance | |

one question from where you fitted the landi renzo kit. There are a number of cng run Meru cabs in mumbai and delhi which have run on original engines to the tune of about 400000km and still no reverse compression. Dacia has made a terrific car, but mahindra has really let it down. | |

| It depends on the motor model ! one of the 1400 engins is not made for gas ! it needs stronger Valves and valve seats | |
