Sorry for my mistake , i am very much anxious in the end of every month and first day before getting the message of sales of logan.This month i didnt get the news from channels but i forget to search in our site so i went to xbhp.com and i got the whole details next minute i posted it in our site . From next month itself i will be wait and do it .

October Sales of Logan is 1079 units.

The buzz in the market is that Mahindra's revised pricing is doing a good job of keeping the roduct alive and kicking.

Nov sales of Logan stands at 876 units

My Logan is also one of them

But Logan sales has dipped a bit from last month sales figure. Probably due to stiff competition. Waiting for Dec months stats as CNG version of Logan has been released.

Also heard that one travel agency at Chennai has booked 75 units of DLE..

The Logan sales may see a small downfall, with the Launch of Toyota Etios.
Etios is priced aggressively in the same bracket as theLogan, Indigo & the segment leader, Swift Dzire.

Etios currently has 7000+ bookings, all of whihc will be delivered by end of March 2011.

Dec Sales of Logan is at 896 units

Marginally better than Nov 2010. But December price cut seems to have had no much effect. May be its the Etios effect !..But that's for petrol..What about diesel?

What the Logan in today's scenario is not a price reduction. People seek more value for the price they pay.

Feature-wise, lets face it, the Logan loses many things.
For a car launched in 2007, 3years + down the line, let me ask few questions:

- Where is the facelift?
- Where is the mid-life model change?
- Where is the product excitement?

Come-on. You need to give something now before people sleep over it and forget it.

People have more attractive options with same price tag and more features for the money..

Good if Mahindra makes these changes..

1) Realign few oddly placed controls..(Wiper orientation mainly, Power window switches)
2) Increase ground clearance a little more
3) Looks - Redesign front grill, Have spoiler a standard in all variants
4) Add little more features - Tilt and height adjustable steering, Little large rear view mirror, 2 reverse lights and also 2 fog lights

But all this not at the expense of space that Logan offers currently. Also reduce the price by another 20,000

Above all please please and please remove the tag of CHEAP car..Its not cheap at all..
LoganLovesIndia.com title says as Low priced car. Car is a status symbol in India. So any car which is promoted as cheap or low price will not sell in India..

Better promotion campaign and ads after all this..

Promote as niggle free, spacious, reliable car with comfort..It will definitely sell

Logan Sales for Jan 2011

Logan : 1120 units

I feel this is a decent number for the month of Jan.

The sales seems to now be steady around a 1000 units.
Frankly I feel, NOW is the time to do any refreshment, upgrade blah blah blah, when people still are coming in for the car.

Delay more and you are gonna lose your 2nd chance too!

Would not like to say much as it is too early, with the brand change in line to happen.
Mahindra has a lot to loose if nothing is done for revival.

Its a wait-n-watch as of now.

Mahindra Definately is doing things. I have insider information saying the car is in ADVANCED stages of development. I am sure Mahindra is not going to be loosing out on the interest it has just created for the Logan even after all the Negative PR's and bad positioning. The car still sells about 1000 units and it certainly is a respectable figure..
When will they launch the car is a question they know better than anyone else but my guess is probably the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2011..

Production capacity is going to be ramped up gradually. The nos. u see are correct.
In another 3 months time, it will rise steadily

Slight decreasing trend is in progress. Hope the re-badged Verito increases the sales figures

Good sign..But Mahindra should keep up their service center quality..else sales volume is bound to drop...

mahindra should seriously take care of the service quality as its realy poor and above all spare parts cost is much higher then the other cars in the segment recently maruti has decreased the costs of spares parts of its cars like the bumper of new swift 2011 is available for 1700 only and head light for 2200 only original company rates maruti has decreased the costs to almost 50% a varito head light of a d4(full silver) model costs 4500 and bumper cost is about 5000.. some of the engine parts also costs to much even more then the ford cars..

Correctly said...The service aspect is dwindling and Iam on my way to an unhappy customer about the fit and finish of the of the end work by the service center. When they deliver the vehicle they should take care that everything is in order. But they grossly fail to do so. If you are not vigilant then you would get an defective service from Mahindra.
