Wood Finish Interiors

I PURCHASED THE WOODEN FINISHED FRNT PANEL,THE OTHER THAT FIT'S BELOW THE GAR LEVER & TRAY ON THE DASHBOARD FOR RS.2000/- FROM MAHINDRA RENAULT IN MUMBAI. IT LOOKS GREAT.

I PURCHASED IT FROM NBS MAHINDRA SERVICE STATION AT REAY ROAD, OFFICIAL SERVICE SERVICE OWNED& RUNED BY MAHINDRA. U CAN ALSO GET U CAR FOR SERVICING THERE, B'CUSE THEY ARE MAHINDRA ENGINNERS WHO DO THE WORK. PROBLEM WHICH CANNOT BE FIXED BY ANY SERVICE MEN'S IS FORWARDED TO THEM. NEED ANY HELP, DO WRITE.

Actually i guess the gear console wooden looks good with the beige fabric on the gear and not the gray one so get it changed too bro!

Just a few clarifications.

1. Any fitting issues which could lead to rattling sounds in the centre console, etc later?

2. The material that the stuff is made of (would be hard plastic with wood finish - do correct me if it is something else), any issues like grip or too much rattling noise when you try and keep a cup / bottle in the holders in the gear console.

no. no rattling noise from any where.

it's the same which the car comes with,but is painted in wood colour,with a coat of lacker & polish. hence looks nice & also looks to last a long way.

while installing the tray silver one the mahindra guy put some double tape below the tray & dashboard while fixing by two screw's with a align key. or else that gives a rattling noise.

if at all u hear a rattling sound from where u keep a cup / bottle in the holders in the gear console just cut any nice soft cloth of that shape at place it there. it will totally eradicate ur noise problem.

total removing & fixing new one time 5 mins.
