| Hi, I have 1.4 GLX, i want to get Lumberjack support fixed. Dealer told me that, only with high end we can get that option and it cannot be fitted separately. Am not comfortable with the current seat.

| I dont think you'll get it.. not so soon atleast. Mahindra is actually very very strict in all this. They wont even give u a switch without the old one. I know this cause i own a scorpio too. I dont understand what they get out of it.... Anyways, Prakash, please change your Location from India to Your City,India. It would be easier for everyone. Also i guess you can approach aftermarket stores. There are many stores where you get seat replacements, but i guess, once again, you may have to wait for the Logan.... | |

| If ONE person is driving, I suppose you could simply make-do with some sort of slim fixed cushion that gives you that nice feeling of support, and then have it sewn to the seat and then cover it all with a seatcover. | |

| Check this site for lumbar support
http://www.orthopaedicindia.com/backcare.html
Scroll down to the section, "Lumbar Rolls and Pads"
There are variety of other products here for back rest and butt rest. I have not used them, But if any of you have used in car, please do comment on their comfort level in doing the work that they are supposed to do.

| Hey guys,
I had a similar issue and always wondered as to why car companies differentiate on this very crucial aspect of the seat and compromise on the drivers comfort. Do people who cannot affor the premium model do not have backs? I am totally at a loss on this but had a solution.
After lot of combinations I did the following;
1.Ordered a car seat cushion from a company named Wagen tech. You can Google it, anyway I had a cousin who was to visit India and hence requested him. By having this seat one needs to adjust the seat again by moving it forward or back depending on your reach and subsequently adjust the ORVMS and internal rear view mirror as the person sitting on this seat cushion will notice the difference in height.
2. I was not comfortable driving with this hence went back to the classical beaded back rest which covers your upper back , lower back , your seat and to a extent gives thigh support. With this I can really drive for a longer time without complaints. Also our clothes do not tend to stick to the seats after sitting continuously for longer distances as one has air circulation as well due to the beads. I would recommend people to try this one out.
Hope my post helps.
Thanks and regards, Siddharth Talageri
