| Hi All, I own a GLS 1.6 logan and have completed 2500 kms. After a recent body shop work, I noticed that when I change gears, even though I dont press the accelerator, and I have the clutch pressed completely, the RPM remains at the range of 1500-2000 and the engine generates noise as if I am pressing the accelerator. This happens very inconsistently. I took the car 3 times to service centre reporting this problem and all the three times they said that the issue has been fixed. But even now, the problem exists. Any idea? | |

| Hi Ashish,
I have made sure to keep the mat away from the accelerator. Still the problem is seen. | |

| I also have a GLS 1.6 and have faced the similar problem a few times ( just maybe thrice in the last year and half). When i face this i just stop, shift to neutral and push the mat behind( sometimes while driving the leg shifts tend to push the mat close to accelerator).u can try this next time...else u have no other option but to scream at the service folks and get it fixed at any cost. | |
