| Has anyone got a logan with ABS actually delivered?
I booked one with ABS at India Garage, Chennai 10 days back. And it has still not been delivered. In fact, the showroom guy claims mahindra has not even shipped it yet.
He says, no one has booked one with ABS with him before this. And mahindra is having problems procuring the system. This means another 7 days wait for me at least. I just hope they don't make me regret this purchasing decision even before I have seen the vehicle.
Is there any way to track the status of your booking with mahindra directly? Has anyone faced logan delivery problems before? |

I will talk to Mahindra today and see what's up. They told me it will take a week for delivery and so, I got rid of my old car. |

I talked to another dealer today just to check out the "ABS is causing the delay" story. This dealer (GMS Motors) claims that ordinary cars will take 2 weeks, but if want ABS, it will take 1.5 months. This is really crazy.. why do they offer ABS models if they have problems delivering? |

| Here is the response from Mahindra: "We do not normally receive orders for ABS vehicles. So, any ABS vehicle will be made only after the order is received. That is, the ABS component is procudred only after the order is received. The dealers are not supposed to commit any timeline."
I don't know why my dealer gave me a clear timeline. Mahindra has promised to make arrangements for a standby car if possible though. Will know for sure on Moday. |

| They were supposed to get back in touch with me on Moday. One Mr.Harish whose mobile number I have (and he talked to me on saturday) is constantly unreachable. The other people I was in touch with over email are all out-of-office.
The dealer says, these are the same people he is trying to contact and he is not getting through either. |

| I am stumped. They don't have the ABS unit in stock to equip a car which has been ordered with one? Surely they can have a minimum number of ABS equipment in stock so that the customer does not face inordinate delays.
I have a wonderful story to narrate with regard to delivery issues. Will do that later on. |

| I'm wondering if I should give up on the logan entirely. Maybe I will seriously think about this if they continue without any proper feedback for the next few days. |

| Man, don't give up on the Logan. You'll definitely not regret owning it once you take delivery, trust me. I own the Diesel 1.5DLX. I would suggest calling them and pestering them every now and then.

| Well..! Some good news. I got a call from the dealer. Mahindra has informed them that they are shipping the vehicle today. And a backup car has been arranged. I'll get it this evening or tomorrow morning.   |
