Hello Logan Friends!!

Iam Prasanth from Madurai. Iam studying BBA 2nd Year.

At the same time, Iam looking over my Father's Import Business.

We don't have any car & i don't get travelled or drove any friend's or relatives car .

Before 1 year only, i get start to get more knowledge of cars through Internet. We bought second hand FIAT UNO and i get very satisfied with it but there was too many problems occurs every month.
So my father forced me to sell second hand car and bought me Brand New Car for our family.

As we are small business people, we need car which qualifies follow:

1. Diesel Engine
2. Fuel Efficiency
3. Space & Comfort
4. Build Quality (Must be tough like FIAT cars)
5. Low Maintainance

I searched all over the internet (Mouthshut, Autocar, Carwale Reviews) and found that LOGAN is the ONLY CAR IN INDIA which satisfies the above things.

We decided to buy LOGAN DLX model after April. I found that Logan Forum was very useful for me and others after buying LOGAN. So only, i had joined this Forum.

I ALSO PROUD TO BE LOGANIZER FROM TODAY!!

I like ONLY LOGAN when i saw it.

HI I am Atanu Das from Kolkata, India, i am going to buy my first car tomorrow(25th December 2008) and the Model is, Logan 1.4 GL(Petrol), I have searched the internet for some queries regarding this particular model. some of them are as follows,

1. As this model doesn't come with a music system, so can i fix a music sytem after buying it,

2. How many services can i get free in between warranty period,

3. What r the option i have in seat covers, as the total accessories price is 11,500 approx,

4. As this this would be my first car, which has a manual steering, so can i handle it..

if anybody answer me this queries that would be a great help

ans to ur quests.

1- yes you can install whatever system u want to in ur car...

2- dunno know exactly about petrol version ...but i got 3 services free ...ie upto 20,000kms.

you can handle ur car very aesily yaar

and about the seat covers you can go for leather seats or fabric ones depending upon ur requirments

I would suggest you go for a GLE
-Driving the car in city without Power Steering would be quite a menace..
-Seat covers are available in plenty in aftermarket stores anywhere from Rs.1500 - Rs. 50000
-3 services free in Diesel and then u can purhase extended warranty too.
-Music system from the OEM arent always very good so avoidable. Tons and Tons of models available outside with USB, Bluetooth and many many more features. Dont worry...

i agree with Saumil.. driving a sedan without Power steering in Kolkata would be tough on your upper torso.spend a little extra and go for GLE.. it's worth every penny.
