Synthetic oil for logan

My car completed 25000 kms last month.I am interested to change my oil to synthetic .Is it have advantage to the car for the performance and mileage. If the answer is yes ...........Which is the grade prefering ? Which is the best oil  Castrol, Mobil, elf,shell etc etc pls give me  your opinion.

A synthetic is a good oil to use ! BUT its very dear  I end up with Synthetic in the car this is what the Garage pour in on Service so I let them do it ! as for what viscosity well it depends on the weather ! for one thing ie Very cold needs a easy running Oil and Very hot needs a bit thicker Elf id the Oil that Renault recommend http://www.lubricants.elf.com/products-range/passenger-cars.html

 Thanks a lot martin what about the gasket and oilseals when we changed conventional engine oil to synthetic oil. I admit that the price is costly but it has its own quality . In india normal elf oil for logan costs around Rs750 but mobil synthetic 5 w 40 grade costs  Rs3000/-
But normal oil loss its viscosity around 5000 kms but synthetic life is around 15000 kms according to technicians

no problem with oil seals Mate and If you follow the Servicing rules you will be OK this is why the the servicing schedules are longer nowadays due to the better oils It realy depends on how you drive your car ! and we drive Logans so we are not racing around are we
