| I've got Philips Diamond vision fitted (5000k). Just take out the stock lamp and fit it in. Unlike HID wannabes it gives pure white light (no blue). | |

| better to get all this done at a good shop who knows what is happening , high power bulbs cant be used with existing set up as they will cause burn out of circuit and lamp assembly with the heat and power consumption | |

| sorry about the late reply brothers! The bulbs are called Philips Diamond Vision. Costed me 1k and there was no need to change anything. Just take out the stock bulb and fit it in.
The wiring burnt stuff must have happened when fitting HIDs/Xenons without a proper relay.

| Hey Ashu, U mean u didnt fit any relay or likes in it! cause in tat case burnout may occur. it wont happen immediately 1-2 months or so on! the wires are made for the specific wattage of the stock bulb. The white ones are i m sure more watts than the stock! just confirm cause if it does occur, u wot get the wires replaced under warranty. IF it doesnt happen so, great!! WE"LL ALL GO FOR IT Also please mention the light coverage, i've heard it goes down frm time to time!! | |

| You need not to change anything till you are using a 100/90. I am using Phillips Ralley 100/90, cost is only 150. I would also suggest not to go beyond 100/90 that will blind the incoming traffic, resulting in a mess for you. PS: Legal limit is what you have factory fitted | |

| Yeah! Ashu and Ezee please do so and for the benefit of all do share the final and tested specs and model numbers of the bulbs. I drive a lot at night and find the standard lights to be ineffective at times. Look forward to your verdict. | |

| See till now, whatever driving I've done in the night.. I've found them very useful.. especially when it is pitch dark. During the time of dusk, when there is little natural light and the street lights are on, I barely notice if my headlights are on or not. But that can be due to the colour they put out i.e. white. Overall, I'm more than satisfied. | |

| No harm to headlight assembly till now. Its clear, visible and useful most of the times, but please avoid driving on HIGH BEAM with 100/90 on.... specially on single roads. I would suggest to have both pair of tubes and use stock in city condition and 100/90 on highways (one-way only) (you can easily replace in just 5 mins). | |

| I feel the glare of white light full beam is too much of a distraction for the other driver against the traffic. I myslef have felt this as a driver. Whats the verdict. Can we have a good illumination at the same time being sensitive to the other drivers... | |

1: Distraction is caused when stupid drivers drive with their High Beam on. Which is illegal (atleast in Delhi it is). 2: A white light doesn't necessarily distract drivers more than a regular one. If you are talking about Xenons, even they are not a problem if working in low beam.
