| Car has clocked 80000 Kms on the ODO and has gone in for service. The SA informed me that the Engine Mount needs replacement and it will cost around 6500 for the mounts apart from the labor charges.
I need to know if anyone in the forum has changed the engine mounts and are they too costly, since I find the engine mounts of other cars are damm cheap.

I have changed the engine mounting .Earlier engine mounting was a duplicate one which was fitted by A.S.C. which did not even last long for 10,000 kms.
When engine mounting is not working check whether your engine is at correct level as it was earlier? Also whether driving the car are you hearing the sounds full of bass in the cabin? Can't take the car above 40 KMPH? Then, yes your engine mountings has gone. Change it as early as possible.
I procured original Renault one from the guy in Bhiwandi area. By the way the engine mounting for DLX1.5 cost me Rs.4500. fitting Rs. 200 exra by local mechanic.

| I changed the engine mounting on ODO 55.600 Kms, Now it's 62800 kms. Complete peace by original renault.
Also just out of question when did you purchased this car, I mean If from Thane ( Fast track cars) details please...
