| Hi
My logan car is 3years old with 30k kms. Since last month my car looses pickup while driving and then wont pickup at all in any gear and RPM goes up with rattling sound from the engine.
I gave it to G3 motors for check, was told to replace clutch cable but the problem persists.
Then was told to replace fuel filter and then some coil but still no luck.
Any idea what can be the reason if anyone has experience the same problem. | |

| Your Clutch is worn out !!!!!! Put it in 5th gear give a bit of gas PUT ON HANDBRAKE and try to pull away ! If it does not stall its The Clutch !!!! Definitive !!!!! and also if it takes a long time to stall its still the Clutch ! take it to a different Garage

| Sorry Martin. I was away so was not able to reply to your suggestion.
I have changed the clutch and went to other garage as well but there is no luck. It has worsened now. G3 guyz are suggesting that the complete wiring has to be checked but not sure what is the problem. | |

| I think you are taking the Piss !!! if the clutch was Ok a garage would not have changed it and as for the electrics we are talking about a Diesel here !!! Or ??? | |

| The vehicle has a on board checking system which the garage would just plug in to see what is wrong if it was engine problems | |

| That has nothing to do with the Revs rising and no power to the wheels has it ! if the engine Revs up and there is no power to the wheels then its a Clutch or transmission problem !

| well the guy said it happens while driving if its the clutch then the car should not drive well at start its the same all the time but if it happens while driving it can be something else.. what about ecu..?? | |

| it cannot be the Ecu the clutch when worn will let you drive off but when you put it under a load it will SPIN and the revs will rise and the power will be lost in the friction on the clutch plates ! | |
