| Now I don't know if any other member has faced this problem yet. The acceleration/ pickup of my car has dropped drastically. And the engine has lost the rev-happy nature of its. Earlier I could go to 5000rpm in any gear, and the car would go happily to it. Now its stuck at 3000k and then slowly edges upwards. Before the first service, it used to be like this only. But then it changed.
And now again it has come back to the same problem. I showed it to the dealer. The service advisor got my air filter cleaned. Checked the on-board computer and found nothing. And they refuse to beleive that there is a lack in acceleration. They say that all 1.4s have the same kind of pickup. But then I said, they must be within their first service, in their run-in period and I've already crossed 15k.
I'll take it to another service centre whenever I'll get the time. But I'm asking other members, has anyone faced a similar problem yet?? | |

| Also, earlier it would happily go till 120-30 without taking any effort, and then to 150-160. now it starts to get strenuous after 100! | |

| Seems to be a Useful piece of Info! Ashutosh do try this and let us know. Also i'd suggest you to be gentle with your car, i actually beleive in the saying that "Your car would stay Lovely when you Love it very Much!" You've already done 15000 kms means quite a lotta run in a short period of time, get your car serviced and try Stuarts advice, lets hope it helps. | |

| I had same problem after checking everything i found that the petrol was not good or either stale (the last few liters which are left behind at every tank full. I believe so cause as soon as we emptied the petrol tank & filled with new petrol things just came back the power, pick up etc. Finally i blame the quality of petrol i was getting at the petrol pump. | |

| Mmmmm I think the petrol in your tank mixes nonstop ! there will be no "Bottom Layer of Petrol" But yes you could be using a bad fuel But the Logan motor is made for bad fuel and the motor management normally sorts this out | |
