TOP SPEED

On 25th Dec, I did a long trip from Pune-Banglore-Vellore. 1140 KM.
I did a top speed of 170KMPH on NH4, the strecth from Kolhapur to Belgaum.
I was all alone in the car and AC off.

I felt the car can do 180KMPH but I decided not to take risk. (Martins advice on the Angel thing)

To assist the speed it was a straight and a slope and it was 1.6GLX.
my car is just 3 months old and only 2200 KM.

I found the car to be quite stable at the top speed.
I drove from Pune to Belgaum ~430KM in 5Hrs and 20min, thats an average speed of 81KMPH. Started the journey at 4AM.

Reached my Home in Tamilnadu at 10PM, total 18Hrs of Driving.

Who clicked the speed pic?

The photo by the angle of it must have been taken by the driver and I myself think this is a STUPID thing to do at that speed

and re my Advise on the Angel It would not even bother fling with you if you endanger it

Stu thats correct. This was a one time stupid act. I could not resist my self looking at the straingth strech with a slope.

Since I'm alive now, I'll never attempt it again.

Anything over 100 or 110 is dangerous on roads here. You never know what is going to step out from behind the bushes on the right.

I've once had a guy and his pet buffalo simply waltz out when I was doing 90. Missed him maybe by 1 foot.

This is the stuff which makes kids think its cool to film and drive
