IN this case - u might have the ventilator set to sucking outside air - which might give you the air flow even blower os OFF. You might know this but sometimes we tend to miss things. | |

| Even with the vent closed in air recirculation position (lever towards the RIGHT), external air pollution and exhaust fumes of a vehicle which is close and directly in front of my vehicle still enters the passenger cabin. Is anyone else facing this same problem, or is this a problem only in my car? | |

| I have a similar problem. Every day when I get into the car I find mosquitoes inside which werent there the previous day. This happens when i leave the ac vents open. Looks like there is some opening that allows smoke and oddly mosquitoes as well. Saumil - we look forward to your updates on hearing back from the company. | |

| Look up daciaclub site one solution was to cover the air vent with a nylon stocking to cut down external pollution ... I will try this when I get some time next week https://i.servimg.com/u/f47/12/17/44/51/home_m10.jpg Another more drastic method was to cut open the airconditioning duct inside the car and mount a air filter there ... but I am not going down that road! | |

| Here is what happens !!! you drive with the ac on then you go home and turn it of ..If you look at any cooling system you will see the pipes get wet in hot weather (condensation) so you turn off the AC and the condensation drops onto something in the car carpet or something . try turning off the AC 5 mins before you arrive at your destination Stu | |

| I think the reason behind your smelly AC is probably mould build -up in your evaporator or it's drain pipe. You can clean your drain pipe with compressed air easily.About your evap. you would probably need professional job or a spray is available in IRAN for such jobs, you turn your blower setting to max ,open all doors, and spray at the air inlet just below the protective grills for 10 secs or so after airing your car for a couple of minutes you are done.About the recirculating air lever, behind the panels there should be an enclosed hardwire running between the end of lever and the handle for the actual vent,at the points of fixture on both side of the hardwire there shoild be some sort of adjusters for length of travel of the hardwire.By trial and error you could tweek it for the right length.thats all. | |
