| hi guys,i have just joined the logan community,i have loagan diesel and it has done 100000 kms....just want to check what is the solution for faulty chamber bolt(from where the drian out the engine oil for service).bolt is not holdin and got it repaired from some mechanic but still there is little seepage...any suggestions......
hi guys....i have a mahindra logan diesel.The bolt underneath the aluminimum chamber is leaking...got it fixed from a mechanic but still thr is a slight leakage...any suggestions shud i go in for new chamber it costs 12000......pls guide

| You will have to replace the oil pan at the bottom of the engine. The bolt screws into that. Re-threading can also be tried after you open the oil pan but is not advisable.

| the mechanic has put a thread around the bold and the seepage has stopped completely...he says no need to worry nw as the the it il not leak and bold is perfectly tight not freeness when it is screwd.

| its a temprary solution it will give u problem on next serivce.... a simple sultion is make a new bolt a lil fat then the old one.. | |

| ya have got that done. a bigger bolt....no leakage nw....will this sustain or il have to shell out 12000 rs | |

| i think u can do this atleast 2 to 3 times if needed and if again u had this problem u can get the chamber whole welded and then it can do with a smaller bolt its a difficult and long process but cheaper... | |
