| I am having logan 1.4.GLE & using it since Jan 2008. Completed 37000 kms. The car is running very well & gives mileage of 12-13 Km/ltr. The clutch cable was changed ones but still it is slightly hard. Has anybody done modification for the clutch?
I would like to suggest to use Mobil 1 engine oil. It is costly as compared to recommended but has given me drastic smoothness & improvment in pick up.
I am happy with the car | |

| And it is nice to hear you are happy with your car ! I seem to get the idea that In India there is a Problem with the Clutch cable .This could be due to the whole system has been changed from LHD to RHD and this could be a reason for this problem ,I suppose they will have ironed it out now We both have the same Motor Mine is a Euro 4 and Yours will be a Euro 3 no difference realy just a few tweaks for the European Laws (makes it a bit slower) Regarding the Oil I just use the Renault Oil ELF .You are now at best Kilometer time over 35000 to realy enjoy the car .Mine took untill about the same and I noticed it pulled a lot better than earlier and hangs a lot beter on the Gas now Like I said its nice to hear positive postings my only negative post I can give is I had to change a Bulb at 42000 Km haha | |

| I feel like changing from LHD to RHD may be they have ignored the length of clutch wire increased because it gets in clutch system from left hand side of engine compartment. Although its approx 2.5 mtrs in length. Martin what is the length of cable in your Loogan? | |

| Hi Martin,
Happy to read your comment. It is quite logical of having this clutch problem due to change from LHD to RHD.
As you said rightly, it seems the performance of the car improves & it becomes more smooth with more running. By the way how much kilometers have you completed & how old it is? Also share any interesting things about Logan. Thanks.
