Dashboard Modification

Has it ever occured to anyone that how uncomfortable it is to drive with a Beige Dashboard? The Glare and reflection does no good specially while driving on a Highway.

It did to me. Besides, I always feel that Black is sporty and Beige should be banned(But thats just me). So for the last 1 year i have been looking to get my Dashboard modified, I ve found a few solutions to get around this problem......

I agree.. Beige is really bad. Especially if you are driving on a tree lined road and sunlight is streaming in between the trees. Very distracting for me.

IIRC it's called the Strobocopic effect.
Yes. It indeed is a little distracting as you can literally not see anything on the road when this effect occurs.

i could not find a suitable solution for this problem - I bought a pair of ray Ban polrized glasses instead. its a lot better now - but still not tested extensively - cant change the world -so i changed the way i look at it !

Do the fit the Logan?

It looks very cheap. How does the Logan Play has some portion of dashboard around the instrument console black in color. Trying to adopt that way will make it look better.

Logan of 2009 last and 2010 is comming with half black dashboard same as logan play but in this model also glare and reflection is their.

@Thomas, After what happened between Mahindra and Renault, I doubt if that model will be coming.....

@Stu: If you can take the pain of shipping the new Logan Dashboard, I would pay the amount ( But thats the last option)

Ok, I found 3 solutions, So far:

1. I have found the Logan covers in Noida. However, Such covers are made in only 2 colors. Grey(the one shown above) and Beige

2. Get the Dashboard painted. I have found the man to do it. I have seen his work and i must say, i was impressed.

3. Request Stu to come to the rescue and get one logan Dashboard shipped(Though its sounds like a crazy idea at this point)


Please look around, Think about it, ask people if incase anyone can suggest something. Thanks guys.

I could have one shipped to you BUT you would have to do a Major Conversion while our cars are LHD

hey u can contact the dgm of sks automobiles in bangalore he has done the painting for the dashboard..... i hope the does body kits etc also and he changes the dashboard's colour...
