Braking issue

I didn't see it as unsafe... neithet did the service people ever say that it's unsafe.... but anyways.. I'll avoid using the vehicle in th evening.... will take it to the workshop in the morning tomorow.

Guys... the break noise while reversing has now dissappeared... they first tightened up whatever that needed to be tightened up in the front suspension ... however that didn't help... the brakes were then opened up and overhauled... that seems to have worked for the moment.
However, I am still not clear what the problem was and how was it solved!

My Brakes still suck and have no Bite....Going this weekend to get em checked again and may be I ll replace them all together.

@ Stu: If i cud, then i wud, Strap you in my car, on the Indian roads, with the kinda brakes my car has.....I d like to see your face once you are done driving..

If Adam wants to strap me in his car he is welcome too but I dont think after 9 years Military driving Tanks and Tank transporters he will bother me and of course to do this he will have to Pay my fare to India .It would be good for him though I could teach him to drive properly

This is the truth
I took our Logan to the Garage on Tuesday to have a minor bump repaired and to have the brakes checked
My wife was given a brand new Twingo to use until Friday when we got the car back ! I asked them to check the brakes as they have nearly 50000km on them thinking they must need changing they are perfectly ok said the Head mechanic after checking them WOW 50000 km !!
They could have changed them and i would have been no wiser .
Good customer service means a lot in Germany and it is also expected
anyway the wife went on Friday and picked up the car and it had also been valeted even polished and all the dirt takern out of places I couldnt get it out of (like between handbrake and seat guides) PERFECT
and the best was the cost of the Twingo was just to pay for the fuel used which was 11 ltrs
but this is Germany Europe
Print out this post and take it to any garage that dont work properly and let them read it !!shame them with it
