coolant replaced

yesterday i got cal frm service center that thr is new coolant for logan and i can get it changed free of cost.
today i went to service center and thr they changed the coolant.
they charged Rs.220 for oil change and remaining was free.
some retrofitment coolant was used.

Did u tell them that u were informed about te Free thing.
You shouldnt have paid in the first place.
Anyways. has anyone else got a call like this?

Coolant replaced OR Oil change ? I'm a little confused by Rohit's post. My dealer hasen't heard of any such thing..

i was standing whole time thr.
they replaced coolant.drained all oil.
refilled with retrofitment coolant.
and in the bill they did not charge for coolant and labour.
but only for engine oil.
i own a diesel logan.any diff in coolant for diesel n petrol?

Ok..Still not sure what your service place is upto ! An oil change would have cost a lot more than 220 Rs.

Hi Rohit,

One batch of vehicle were dispatched with faulty coolant pump. Due to that faulty pump , the coolant and oil got mixed in my vehicle. M&M replaced Engine and radiator in my vehicle 3 months back.

Though the engine was replaced in my vehicle they called me last week and replaced oil, oil filter, coolant, coolant pump again for free of cost.

Diwnaras, something is not right here. A faulty pump led to the coolant being pumped into the engine? They replaced all of this a second time?

yeah , thy replaced second time because mahindra has asked the dealers to replace the coolant pump in all the vehicles dispatched during that time. Anyway i got one free service.

For others who may also be similarly affected, and do not have correction measures in place, can u pls specify what time period you are talking about .... maybe the engine number will help ...
