| Got this from one Mouthshut forum. "when going for the first servicing, ask the dealer to tighten all the bolts, specially the engine plate bolts. Verify with them if the door-locks are the new type locks (this had a problem in the initial lot and was changed in Feb 2008). Check the screen water spray nozzle - normally it sprays water on the roof, ask for an adjustment so that it hits the screen." My car is October 2007, so do i need to ask the dealer to change my locks and check the engine plate bolts? | |

| Stu, being the biggest carmaker of the world does'nt cut any ice, if things are shit it is shit, the door locks are, dunno about engine mounts but I would'nt be surprised, the water spray dose spray on the roof, I have got to adjust it every 15 days. Renault or no Renault there are lot of things shit about this car, its better to acknowledge it. | |

| I completely agree with Debasish.
There are problems in every part of the car, which are widely acknowledged by many owners.
- Door Rattling
- Engine Noise on high speed
- Break Noise on low speed
- Reverse Gear noise
- Pickup sucks
- Hard Steering
- I get only 7 KMS in city
This is definitely a bad choice I made. I deceived thinking that this car is well sold in Europe, so it will adhere to some minimum standard, but it is lower standard than Indian cars. May be the Indian version of it is a shit.

| If you are getting 7Kms in the city this can only be due to your driving style I could do better with a Mark1 Cheftan Tank with a V12 diesel engine .Hard Steering ??? this in proper terms is called positive feel steering where you feel the road and not just some light steering wheel like on the old american dinosaurs engine noise at high speed .....ok it is a bit loud I would though advise you to sell this car and buy a car that you can drive properly .You have been moaning about the fuel consumption all the time and if you have had it checked at the garage and they have found no faults then its YOU I have just returned from England and on my 2400 km drive I used 7 litres per 100 km traveling at 130 real time kmh Stu 7 ltrs is equiv to 14.29 Kpl | |

| I can’t afford the loss, by selling this car, so no option than left for now.
But still the facts of this car remain same, may the mileage is my driving style, but rest all are reported by several others. The point am trying to make is this is not a high quality car.

| Its unfortunate that you guys are facing these issues. I was thinking about my friend who bought a Diesel 1.5 DLE nearly a year back and its run more than 15000kms. He has driven it on some very bad roads but he has no issues so far. The car also returns very decent average. Maybe you should try a different service center. | |

| Well, i haven't faced any issues of door locks or engine bolts the car is working gr8, its around a year old and my 3rd free service is due, so i dunno from where people have posted about these issues,
Regarding the water spray jets, in my car also they are spraying on the roof and one too low, but that will be fixed in service,
Door rattling and wiper spraying water is still there and i have gotten used to the same for now.
Don't know why you are getting so low mileage, my logan is giving around 20km per litre, but i dont go above 60km/hr speeds.
