Sudden Increase in rattling, engine sound at stalled pos.

I am experiencing sudden increase in rattling sound and vibrations, started from boot section now on the right side door or around above the tyres. Its a kind of ghrrrrr sound which comes at stalled position only.

It seems engine is producing more vibrations than usual i had earlier, and as soon as I increase the RPM all vibrations go away. Even I can feel extra vibrations in cabin as well, with gear knob, and side mirrors (vibrating).

No idea whats going on but a local mechanic told me that it could be engine mountings gone bad.

Can some one let me know how many engine mountings do we have in Logan Diesel and can that be the reason of those extra vibrations?

I have driven 55000 kms till now and main mounting has already been changed once.

Could it be the exhaust mountings ? you said the Boot or did you mean the Hood ? if its the Boot then get under the car and rattle around on the Back exhaust box they are know for rusty and breaking hangers Look at this photo ezee and you will see the hanging brackets they have rubber hangers sometimes the whole thing rots off or just the rubbers which you can buy or take off a Scrap Renault 

Let me add to this problem.  I own a Verito D6, bought in Bangalore India in 2013 April. The car has completed 25000 Km.

After the first free service, the car has started giving rattling issues. The sounds come from dashboard, steering column, both front doors. Also, extra vibration when the engine is idling. A foul smell when the ac is started, ac filter has been replaaced twice.

Had several repairs @ the service centers. A Mahindra guy also got involved, but no go. The issues remain. Cany any one suggest something different???
