hi thomas, the cost of the bixenon projectors with angel eyes is around 12k.
if u could get some mechanic to install them in your existing headlights it is good.
i couldnt find any mechanic in my place to get that done, so i got them installed in a new pair of headlights by the seller itself and send it to me. so th total cost was around 17500 rupees. there are many in delhi who do that. eg performance zone, mxs motosport etc. i bought mine from mxs motosport. they are doing a good job.

can anyone tell me how to upload my photoes in this forum?

From what I have read in this thread so far, it seems Philips XtremeVision does a decent job, without messing with the wiring. I am planning to go for them in my new Verito D6. Please confirm if the bulb size spec for verito is H4 ?

Does someone know who is the authorized dealer in Pune ? or may be a reliable accessory shop. I read about someone who got them for Rs. 1100. Anyone who got them cheaper ? If yes, from where ?

The light are like the ones on Bmw x5 , x6 , audi q7 , etc ...

I fitted the Philips XtremeVision bulbs on my Verito. I find them much better than the factory fitted ones. They costed me Rs 1200 for the pair.

I find this more reliable than changing wirings and using a relay and a high wattage lamp. i had done that in my previous car. The problem with this system is that it is too heavy for the battery. if you leave your lights on for even a short while (after switching off the car) the battery drains off. This is because bulb is of higher wattage. Also due to overheating the reflectors loose thier clarity in a years time.

Moreover the overall benefit is not too great. You may see the road much clearer when there are no oncoming vehicles - thats it. When there are oncoming vehicles with a hi-beam on, you are anyway blinded.

So with this experience I suggest - go for Philips XtremeVision. Thats the VFM option. I have not used Xenon HIDs so I cannot comment on that.

can we put on the new bulbs by replacing the old ones or do we need to change the entire set!!

Yes, It is just a replacement of bulbs. Takes 5 minutes.

@ Sachin , If the battery may drain off by just a simple mistake of not to turn off H/L before turning of engine & the reflectors are gone in an year. Then it is better to go with wiring harness & osram 90/100 bulbs. That's much better & on safer side.

I had a very poor view earlier with my logan but i did this & changed complete headlight assembly for Rs.4700/- (2 sets). Really good light commes now.

But here in our area eletricians are not that much educated with logan & hence nobody has able to correct the beam direction( upper/ dipper).

@ Vaibhav, Yes. Vaibhav I agree, it is difficult to find a good car electrician. Actually the problem I mentioned in my old car was with a changed wiring harness and relay. it was of ROOTS brand, supposedly a good one. So i did not have problem with the wires, but only with the battery. Probably because I had used 130/110 lamps. It was too heavy for the battery. It gave great visibility, but I felt it doesnot matter much when oncoming lights come with a hibeam.

hi guys, i am a old member, but was not updated, i have started to read a lot about logan now a days as my vehicle is getting 5 years old...

I wish to change head and tail lamps.... any suggestions....

I'll suggest go to car detailing centres anywhere in mumbai like carzspa etc.& ask them whether the headlight & taillight can have better visuality. They actually clears the set from inside with some sort of solvents & the original glow & finish is back on surface. 2 months back I changed my headlights for same problems , but I was not aware of this detailing service.

One more thing. first ask the cost of detailing for headlights & guarantee. coz set of new headlights( both) comes at Rs.4700/-. Compare the payback & go ahead. if you wish to use car for more than 3.5 years go ahead change the headlights,if not ask the cost of detailing, if around 1000 for all four & valid for 1 year at least. Then go ahead make detailing.

Thank you so much... the info is very useful... i am not sure how long i am going to use the car, as the car is still in a best of the condition... and i am firm believer that i will continue with the car for till it starts causing problems as of now there is no problem as such...

Guyz ive got a question.....
can we add only angel eyes with the stock lights(yellow lights)?

Changed my headlights (reflectors), replaced with pair of TYC Automotive Lamps for INR6000/-.

Old ones had become dull and vertical adjustment was getting uncontrollable due to damaged gears inside reflector housing ...

Nice and bright ... need some fine tuning adjustments still.

BTW headlights will not be adjustable from driver position as mechanism has changed from the old Logan model ...

in my logan 2009 I used 100/90 with cut out relay & fuse copper 2 year has passed no problem Rs 1100 in Pondicherry

i used Phillips 90/100 it came for 40,000 kms then one high beam fuse ,then I went one step ahead with 110/120 hellina in 400 kms night  drive the front head light glass became foggy in right side ,so I changed to 100/90 again

The lenses are plastic and to big will melt them
