Rear tyres wearing out on the inside.

Hello all,

For the last 6 months, I was observing the rear tyres are not exactly straight, but slightly mis-aligned. Although there is no problem in driving the car, no drag or slide, but the tyres are wearing out on the inside real fast.

I got it checked with the Pratham service centre at Jakkur, they told me it is an issue with the rear axle and the same needs to be changed. I need 3 help here. 
1) Need your expert comments if this observation is correct.
2) If yes what could be the cost to do the replacement.
3) Is this a regular issue with Logan? What is the risk of continuing with this rear axle, when there is no problem with the drive an only issue with the tyres wearing out?

Tell the garage to boil there heads ! !!!
I would get the wheel alignment FRONT AND BACK checked By a GOOD garage

You did say a few months back you went on a long drive with also rough roads ! this could have altered your alignments by banging into potholes and stuff

I spent considerable time across multiple Garages in Bangalore, the result is the same. Looks like there is a minor bent that has come in in the rear axle and this what is eating in the inner side of the rear tyres. They have quoted almost 26K + labour for this. However they also said, this does not posses and drive risk or impact to ride quality and it is a call that i need to take, whether i am comfortable replacing the tyres every 20K KM or go for the one time corrective action.

I am actually thinking if i really need to invest so much, i would rather pimp up the car with some better suspensions all together.

BUT !!!! have you been to a Renault or a Mahindra Garage ! For you to bend the axel you need to have been in a accident or driven through one massive hole which hit the axel

Go to another Garage where you have NEVER been and say you would like to have your wheels aligned do not say about what others have said just give it a try
