I got the delivery of my new Logan 1.6 GLX - Sahara Biege on 24-Aug-09.
Mahindra has discontinued this colour, I got this car under a scheme for Mahindra Employees.
There was good discount of around Rs 60-70K + added benefits like 2 yrs extended warranty etc.
on road price was 5.73 L

I have to fit all accessoroes in the coming week.
I need some guidance on the fitment of the car audio system

I will post more pics later.

Congrats for your new car. I have been using Sony Xplod for the las 1 and 1/2 years and found it decent. However if you are looking for a high end system, then you will have to try out other options.

Club logan has helped me a lot to select this car.

In fact I was almost obsessed with your 1.6 Edge Connect. but had to exclude from the options due to the high cost.
at the same time this offer came for Mahindra Group employees.

after I booked my car in Jul, I was trying to find out Logan Biege colour cars, since Mahindra has discontinnued this colour, I could find anly few car with this colour on road and I downloded pics of Saumils car & showed it to my family members.

if they had provided the 1.6 model to market, such that cost comes to 5.7 on road, they would not probably have had to discontinue it.

I bought my Logan Nov 2008 GLX1.4 at the same cost. And I still cannot forget that M&M slashed the prices of Logan by 60 - 70K 15 days after I took the delivery. I wish I could get the Edge model a bit cheaper because it just loved the colour.


I am am using a Kenwood music system with 4 kenwood speakers. I got it fitted at the showroom itself. It has the standard features like FM, mp3, CD, USB connectivity, remote etc. Quite good. I am happy with it.
