My Family bought a new Logan Edge Connect 1.4 GLX(Mystique Purple), in fact we got the delivery just today. I am just waiting to get behind the wheels(Im out of station right now ). When i had my testdrive i was flattered by the drive ride quality and the space. Ours is a joint family and hence we needed a car that had space and also a good performance and we found that in Logan. Thank you so much to all forum mates for their very valuable suggestions and their details about every aspect of Logan. Thanks a lot.

Whatever the sales numbers might say, I am definitely seeing more and more logans in my area in chennai. Just 2 days back I saw atleast 3 connect's getting ready for delivery at VST motors in Chennai.

And Mir, the on road price was 5.75 Lakhs in cochin kerala. Actually in the month of May 2009, the sole dealers for Mahindra in Kerala(TVS Sundaram) had a Rs.25000 offer which could be claimed as either Accessories or Extended warranty or Cash discount. I thought for the time being Cash discount was necessary. Hence opted for that. The real on road price is 6.00 Lakhs.

And you know what guys???My uncle and dad had gone to take the delivery of the car and Thanks to the very sensible guy at gas station, he filled in diesel instead of petrol and after driving for about 300mts my uncle stopped the car to buy something and after that it was not starting at all and thankfully since the service station was close by they came and repaired it immediately. Guys do you think will there be any problems? Please reply soon. And also please tell me about some accessories.

Cash discount was excellent offer.
I did not get that as the dealer did not agree for, when i purchased mine in Dec 08.
In dec 08 too price was 6 lacs on road for logan edge connect.
I very much wanted to go for it, however provided dealer agrees for cash discount, which ofcourse he did not at that time, and i went for the one i have now.
5.75 on road is a good deal.

putting diesel in petrol engines is damaging.

however as you said it was solved, and after that the car might have been driven for a few kms. so by this time whatever had to happen has already happened. so i dont think there is anything to worry now.

anything specific you are looking for in accessories.
now a days there are tons of them available.

as a general advice go for the standard ones that do not spoil looks of the logan in general, as we are very cautious about such petty matters. like not putting some Honda branded material in logan like a sticker or a seat cover etc...

there are couple of logans on this forum with real cool accessories. surf around in various topics and you should come across them.
