Hi Indranil, 60 kms up & down = 120km?? If you are going to move out of the city in that distance, why not prefer the diesel? Logan is more popular for its frugal Diesel engine. And one more thing. how long do yu intend to keep your vehicle for? While I can vouch for the car & it is definitely one of the practical options to go for, the JV of M-R doesnt seem very exciting at this point of time. I've had the car (Dsl) for 2 yrs now. Absolutely no issues. Loving the feel more with each passing day. Regarding Logan 1.6 pet, others in the forum can give u an idea. Please do evaluate according to your needs/usage/image/budget.

Yes, the diesel would be a better option. You may come across nitty gritty issues but I am sure you'll love the car. No idea about CNG.

Try to seek 1.6 with company fitted CNG. I guess it should be available in Delhi. I read somewhere on this forum that they would be providing 1.6 with company fitted CNG.

Hey, Welcome to the Club to start with. Yea, for the CNG fitted one, It is sure a good car! If you see Meru Cabs around your city (Very Popular in Mumbai and Bangalore), they are all CNG fitted. The fact that they are using it in such high numbers, proves its worthiness. Also, as others said, the Logan is Much more popular in the Diesel variant as the Engine is a GEM. Its purely for you to decide, for me, i Drive a Diesel and Love it... But if you want to go purely on financials, it seems, the CNG will win! Do keep us Posted.. _________________ LOGANIZE!! ;-)

Hi Indranil, CNG is one of the better options, as far as I understand factory fitted CNG is available only in 1.6GLX Petrol and not in Diesel. (Friends pl. correct me if I'm wrong) I was trying very hard to get a factory fitted CNG in my 1.6GLX in Pune, but the registration in pune is a problem. Delhi is the only place where Logan CNG registration is possible. CNG kit is provided by Landy Renzo an Italian company. The cost may be ~54K extra. If u get CNG fitted from outside, u'll loose the warranty on the engine. Landy Renzo kit comes with a 12 Kg cylinder. which should be sufficient for your 60-70 KM travel every day. Running cost just Rs.1.25/KM I have the pdf brochure, give me your ID I will mail it to you.
