but now all my friends are scaring me by saying that mahindra renault is a failure in india and my future is not different from daewoo owners....can somebody help me on this...i have still time to pull out......

I don't think there is much to worry as Mahindra is involved in this.

Also, If you havent got the delivery of your car, PLEASE THINK ABOUT GETTING IT CONVERTED TO THE NEW LOGAN WITH THE EMBELLISHER AND EXLECTIC ORVMS.

@r.rajad: even after you purchase the car and you personally find it excellent you will have your friends still saying the same crap things. they still may not appraise your decision.

it is only this forum that goes ga ga over this machine. apart from here everywhere people are more interested in breaking then making.

nothing to worry about on any front. all cars give troubles ranging from minor to major. in india i have not come across any model which is completely hassle free.

some make wierd noises, some have loose fittings, some make engine vibrations after couple of years, some have extremely bad gear boxes, some wear out and fade out so soon that they start looking decades old, some are too uncomfortable after a long drive both for passengers and for driver, some are high on maintanence, some are always in garage.

just for example, have you ever come across one portal revolving around one car for so long. this speaks something in itself.

some or other minor issues may exist everywhere at some point of time. those who do not agree to this are living in delusions.

follow your own instincts. this car is really meant for people of strong will and high levels of confidence on their decisions and those who believe in pushing their mark.

thanks everybody.....whenever i think of buying someother car in my price range(6 lakhs) my heart goes back to logan.....that solid body..... and the interiors are far better with the leathers ....so iam proudly looking forward to my purple beauty....

Hey Aryan,
The car should be available with the dealers to book, though deliveries should take a lil time! Krishna posts that the new version is on Display in G3 Motors, Thane

Ok Guys,
Have a Lil Further Clarity!
There are not 1 but 2 New Variants (i guess)
The Logan Refresh is at display @ G3 Motors and the other version is getting Launched on 17th of September in Ahemdabad, it'll be (Most Probably) be called Logan Play.
To my knowledge, the Refresh only has the embellisher and new look mirrors, the Play, they say will have considerable (dont know their measure) changes including some lil changes to the Interiors as well..
