hey guys!!
i have logan 1.6 glx and i have experience nearly 4000kms of driving it every time u close the door and if the windows arent fully closed then there is a rattling noise have u experience it!!! i even told this to my dealer but he didnt fix the problem for me !! the problem stil persist!!

Not faced anything similar so far. Need to keep in mind if any rattling noise creeps up in future.

i donot face this problem, but when ever i close the rear doors, the window seems to vibrate........i told this problem to the dealer, they said that the windows should have some space to come down and go up.....this sound occurs due to this gap, though they promised to fix the problem on the 2nd servicing...

YES. i have this. with windows half on noise do come. however negligiable, but it does come.

Its probably because, there has to be a little space for the glass to travel up and down. With passage of time and usage minor noise will be noticeable because the sides would develop more clearance. I normally have the windows up most of the time with the blower set to 'outside' air and if its warm then its a/c with 'outside' air mode every half an hour or so. Just to have a bit of fresh air in once in a while.

I too all the times have windows rolled up. not because of the rattling noise but because i am on AC all the times. also i hate the dust entering cabin.

But truth is window rattling with half window open is present since almost beginning.
it is due to mismanaged and poorly fitted windows and their insulations.
if some one has travelled ever in a state transport bus one will understand what kind of window rattle i am talking about. however it is not that severe in logan but it is there.

Guys, I need to clarify one thing from you all.

When the key is inserted into the slot, there are 4 positions

1. Off
2. Acc
3. Ignition (When DIS and warning lights glow up)
4. Start (When you actually are starting the engine)

Are you guys able to operate your power windows when the key is in position 2 (Acc)?
Mine works only in 3 (Ignition) and 4 (Start)

mine too works only at pos 3 and 4

it is suppossed to work only on positions 3 and 4.
its the same in other cars i have encountered so far.

I think i've seen in my friends accent & verna, it works from stage 2.

In some vehciles, it owks in stage 2 for 3 minutes and then gets disabled
