Following a topic where one of our friend reports quite high maintenance costs, i want all members to post in their figures in below format so a consensus can be acheived as to what are the average maintenance costs one has to bear for Logan. I dont find any other better way of getting such figures.

However this topic will make some sense only if maximum members participate with their figures.

2 months back i wrote about the spare parts costs which was mentioned in a car magazine.At that time i was very much worried about the Logan car sales in india .i dont know why they are spoiling such a very good very good car. The dealer is spoiling the car through the service so my advice is search other good service centres . If one service centre is bad other one may be good.Pls share the addresses of good service centres

My thought is different because i directly enquried lot of logan owners in my area about the performance and maintenance most of the people are satisfied with the cars performance and maintenance side every one have different opinion.In india it is a very low cost car but after purchasing the car low cost gradually turned to huge cost through service andspares so it directly affects the sales of the car a lot.The Mahindra renault people discuss the matter to reduce the spareparts cost and increase customer satisfaction through service .

Will be going for the 4rth service shortly so per km maintenance will jump up to Rs 1.45.

My average running is very low hence the service duration is long.

Also what is no 10. if someone can clarify the same will update the same

1. you have to find the maintainance cost per km just before servicing. you should not include recent service charges as the recent service will take you further by some kms. which we cant predict.
2. accident repairs too have to be kept out. apart from accident repairs all other service charges are to be taken in. we are looking at normal service costs that go after maintaining the car in its best state.

So your mainatinance cost per km so far would be 5500/16000 = Rs. 0.35

This adds to the fact that all logan owners are having nearly same figures irrespective of
1. age of car
2. kms run so far

very consistent figures so far.

number 10 is the mileage figure (kilometer per liter) as can be read from the Driver Information System (DIS that is fitted within the odometer panel)

I don't have the DIS in my basic version of Logan diesel, but i am getting around 20 km pl mileage from my car
