PostSubject: Squeaky sound in the doors   Wed Jun 27, 2012 4:09 pm

Hi off late i am hearing a squeaky sound when ever i open or close the front driver side door. affraid I can see that the door is resting on two hinges and in the middle section there is stopper which protrudes in and out as and when the door is opened or closed.

I have checked the hinges and they look fine, i presume the squeaky sound is comming from the stopper. I have applied grease to this part but still the sound continues.

Did anybody experience this?? Any solution? Basketball

I had this on mine It is the screws are loose which hold the bar in place (I think it was the Bar) the screws are those funny shaped ones but you can use a screwdriver to tighten them Do every door !!!

Did you do a rewiring and repainting on your Logan? the blue and black wire doesnot seem to be stock in the image. Seems rubber grommet was lost

I have tightened the said screw but still the squeaky sound continues. No I guess need to replace the stopper/Bar. Would take it to the garage for replacement.
